Delete Your HalalHQ Account

Request permanent deletion of your HalalHQ account and associated data.

This action cannot be undone

When your account is deleted:

  • Your profile and personal information will be permanently removed
  • Your reviews will be anonymized (shown as "Deleted User")
  • Your saved payment methods will be deleted
  • You will lose access to any active marketplace orders
  • Any seller balance must be withdrawn before deletion

Have the app installed?

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:

  1. Open the HalalHQ app
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  4. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  5. Tap "Delete Account"

Request deletion via email

If you cannot access the app, enter your account email below and we'll prepare a deletion request email for you to send.

This will open your email app with a pre-filled deletion request to send to our support team. We will process your request within 7 business days.

Data Retention

In compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, some data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:

  • Transaction records: 7 years (tax/legal requirements)
  • Fraud prevention data: Up to 2 years
  • Anonymized analytics: May be retained indefinitely
